Hopefully, a bad sequel is not in the card's for this week's top release, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. So far, Rotten Tomatoes has the film rated at 78% fresh, but that's with only 65 reviews having been accounted for at this time.
If you listen to my sister in law - herself an avid Indy fan and Harrison Ford lover - who caught an advanced screening this week, the movie is so-so and seems more like one long chase scene. Uh-oh.
Not promising at all, considering this is the woman who went out of her way to win these tickets and was so influenced by the Indiana Jones trilogy that she majored in Museum Studies. Yikes!
Anyway, here comes a positive review from the geek world that makes me feel a little bettter. Newsarama has this spoiler filled review that gives me hope.
